I Doubt Haye vs Povetkin Happens
A fight does not happen between Alexander Povetkin (21-0, 15 KOs) and current WBA champion David Haye (25-1, 23 KOs),said The former world heavyweight champion of the the WBA, Nikolai Valuev (50-2, 34 KOs).
Challenger Ruslan Chagaev doesn't receive approval by British Association to fight with David Haye then Povetkin, who is ranked at #2 by the WBA, will have the bright chances to face Haye on May 21. Chagaev's link to Hepatitis B will likley prevent him from being able to face Haye in England.
Valuev doesn't see Haye-Povetkin happening because the advantage will be too far in Haye's favor.
"This battle could take place, however, it is likely going to be staged in England, and you have to understand that everything will be stacked against Alex if that happens. Therefore, I have serious doubts about whether the fight between Haye and Povetkin will actually take place," Valuev said.
